The Vaghi Lab is based at the Department of Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London. 

 

The lab seeks to reach an individual-level description of the cognitive and brain mechanisms of compulsivity. One of the aims is to develop imaging and diagnostic tools to help those who have psychiatric conditions across the lifespan and to translate this knowledge to tailored intervention. The lab uses advanced neuroimaging techniques in combination with pharmacology, large-scale experiments, and computational modelling. 

 

The lab is proud to currently hold funding from the Brain and Behaviour Research Foundation and the Medical Research Council.
